It’s common for large projects to require at least some level of data integration. Assurety’s integration services combine and merge data from multiple sources and programs into one central repository to provide a unified and comprehensive dataset. This critical step in a data-intense project allows the organization to gain a holistic view of their operations, customers and other aspects of the business without having to view multiple screens or access several software platforms to get the information they seek.
Data integration projects employ Extract, Transform Load (ETL) functions, where Assurety’s team extracts data from multiple systems and transforms it to conform with a common data model or structure. The data is then loaded into a new data warehouse where it is made available across the enterprise. Many organizations can benefit from integration services, as certain departments or divisions run software specific to their needs that may not produce data that is easily available to other branches of the organization.
Risk is inherent in any ambitious project, and the proactive management of those risks is key to a positive outcome. Assurety views risk management as an integral part of program and project management. Every Assurety employee is trained in risk management techniques, and we design all of our technology programs with risk management at the center.
Risk management focuses on identifying, assessing and minimizing potential risks that may impact the success of a project or organization. The objective is to minimize the likelihood and impact of negative events, while maximizing opportunities for positive outcomes.
Integration and risk management are closely related, because effective integration of complex data sets requires consideration of the potential risks to not only the integration project itself, but also to the organization at large.
Assurety is a technical PMO. Our deep knowledge of hardware, software, integration, API management, resource management, conflicts and other technological needs means we understand how to plan for any eventuality that may occur.
