The Postal Service focus for the previous decades and century had been mail. With the advent of internet and eCommerce the parcel volume growth was exponential, and the infrastructure was not going to sustain the growth in parcel volumes. Hence USPS needed to develop a new platform to meet future needs. The result was Intelligent Mail Package Platform where Assurety played a lead role in designing and implementing the program.
